Description

This advanced training is geared towards people who are already actively using Kanban and who would like to improve upon and actively develop their own existing system further.

Get to know advanced application techniques and skills of Lean Kanban – how to apply this practically remains the center of attention! You will receive an in-depth insight into the Kanban Flight Levels and experience, through concrete examples, how an accurate prediction can be made within the framework of forecasting without wasting any effort on estimation and how a realistic likelihood of occurrence of more than 80 percent can be reached with this prediction.

Another focus point of the KMP II Training is to answer questions pertaining to the scalability of Kanban. What does it take to optimally coordinate and network Kanban systems at various hierarchical and operational levels as well as to integrate their informational content into a greater whole? And what practical steps do I have to take for this?

The motto of the training is clearly, “learning with one another and from one another”. This means that you do not receive any theoretical analysis from even more theoretical topics which might sound exciting but do not apply in any way to your day-to-day business. What would you do with all of this theory anyway?

During this training, we will further develop your concrete Kanban implementations. The great thing here is that you will also profit from the experiences of the other training participants: “How did you solve this situation?”

All of this is, of course, rounded off with knowledge input and experience from Klaus and Troy who are one of the old hands and most experienced Kanban and forecasting experts worldwide. You will learn from the book authors and Brickell Key Award prize winners personally and profit directly from their experience with various Kanban system dimensions within numerous branches and from their several hundred trainings.

Aim of training: improving an existing Kanban system

Check how things stand, evaluate your own Kanban system, get an overview of where the most potential for improvement can be found and learn a lot about new topics. The aim is to create concrete improvement ideas for your own Kanban system and to learn how to successfully implement these ideas. It is possible to do this as a single participant or in a group of three, then you will have several perspectives towards any aspect and the weight of implementation weighs on a few more shoulders.

Prerequisites

In order to attend the KMP II class, you will need to first complete the 2-day Applying Kanban (KMP I) class. We will work with examples out of your daily kanban experience! The books “Practical Kanban” and “Kanban Change Leadership” by Klaus Leopold are recommended reading.
